Taliban Government Facing The Challenges!
The situation has changed dramatically since the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan and the Taliban's takeover of the whole of Afghanistan. The US test is over and the Taliban has begun.
Until recently, it was
the responsibility of the United States or the Ashraf Ghani government to bring
stability to Afghanistan, protect the lives and property of the people and
provide food, clothing, shelter, education and health for the citizens, while
the Taliban and They were sympathetic countries.
In the current changed circumstances, the difficult task of establishing political stability, restoring law and order in the country and providing food, clothing, shelter, health and education for the citizens has become the responsibility of the Taliban and their sympathizers.
The Afghan Taliban are far ahead of Ashraf Ghani's government because of discipline and a spirit of sacrifice. There is not as much corruption in their ranks as there was during the previous government.
The Afghan Taliban have a heavy hand in this regard, but they still face challenges that are tantamount to gambling. He has spent 20 years in the war while he was not yet ready to rule.Obviously, war and rule are two different things.
The first challenge
for the Taliban is to form a government and in this regard they have to
overcome the internal differences at the earliest opportunity, which is
delaying the formation of the government.
All the Taliban agree
on the leadership of Mullah Hebatullah, but there is an invisible
political and military division. Some Taliban leaders are very important on the
political front but their status on the battlefield is not significant while
some people were key on the battlefield but their names are not very prominent
in the political and diplomatic circles.
So the big challenge
is to bring these two types of faces together in one government and to satisfy
them.Similarly, the challenge is how to strike a balance between the south,
east and north of Afghanistan. Most of the Taliban's leadership comes from
Kandahar (called Loye Kandahar in Pashto, which means not only Kandahar
province but all the adjoining southeastern provinces).
On the other hand, Sirajuddin Haqqani and his network
played a key role in the resistance and they are leading Greater Paktia (called
Loya Paktia in Pashto, which means Paktia and the adjoining eastern provinces).
The city of Kabul was initially taken over by Sirajuddin Haqqani's Badri Force (named after his brother Badruddin Haqqani, who sacrificed his life in the war).So a big challenge is how to strike a balance between Paktia and Kandahar.
Another major challenge in governance is that not only the West but also Pakistan, Iran, Central Asian states and Russia are demanding the inclusion of an inclusive government that includes Tajiks, Uzbeks, Hazaras, Women and key figures in the former government should also be represented, but a large section of the Taliban ranks understand why we should include in the Taliban Government those we have fought for 20 years.
